Carlos is a partner of Ángel Múnera. Before joining the firm as a partner, he led the legal department of an important business group, was a senior associate of the Corporate and M&A team of a leading Colombian firm and a foreign associate of one of the leading firms in New York.

Carlos advises companies, asset managers, and family offices on corporate matters and their operations, mergers and acquisitions, minority investments, financings, corporate governance and wealth management. Additionally, Carlos represents majority and minority shareholders in corporate disputes.

So far in 2024, Carlos has advised on the acquisition of industrial cleaning company in reorganization, the separation of large agricultural and farming assets among shareholders, the purchase of assets of a meat food company, the sale of an animal genetics company, the sale of a multiple luxury hotel operating company, the conversion of SAFEs of a medical industry startup, several Delaware flips and startup reorganizations, and the formation of a real estate development investment fund.
